You inspect the bag. It is clearly new. The paper is still crisp. You open the bag to see a single apple.
You wonder how the apple got here and who might be the owner. After some debate with yourself, you come to conclusion that the owner is long gone. So you decide to keep the apple for yourself. You put the apple into your own backpack, telling yourself that you will surrender it to the owner if you ever find him or her.
